Some contemporary authors named this phenomenon Magia Posthuma. This blog is dedicated to understanding what happened and why.

Apologies
My apologies to the so-called 'Amateur Vampirologist', whose identity and blog some people may have confused with the blogger referred to in recent posts like this. For more information, I recommend to read the recent posts on the subject on Diary of an Amateur Vampirologist.

Cheers for that, Niels. Much appreciated.
I can see why any confusion may have sprung up. After all, even I did a double take when I saw the extraordinarily similar name on your blog! I almost thought I had stolen something from you, without realising it.
But, of course, once clarity rapidly restored, I knew who the culprit was. It's just such a shame he's come here to pollute your excellent blog.
