Without taking note of it, early this month it was the one year 'birthday' of this blog. As I have said in one or two previous posts, I find that I have benefited from starting this blog, particularly because it has brought me into contact with a few other people with similar interests. Unfortunately, I often find it difficult to find time for writing posts, but I hope that what I do post is useful and interesting enough to stimulate future visits.

A Belated Happy Birthday to Magia Posthuma, certainly one of the greatest vampire resources available on the Internet.
Many happy returns!
I absolutely agree with Hogg, this blog is really wonderful. I am ignorant of the German language, therefore, this blog is an excellent resource for me. Happy Birthday Magia Posthuma.
Thanks for the nice words, Anthony and Leon, and thanks to those who e-mailed me recently.
Congratulations with the anniversary of this terrific, highly informative and thought-provoking blog. Allow me to celebrate the event with this Magia Posthuma-ish quote, allegedly from an English court:
Q: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?
A: No.
Q: Did you check for blood pressure?
A: No.
Q: Did you check for breathing?
A: No.
Q: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?
A: No.
Q: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
A: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
Q: But could the patient have still been alive, never the less?
A: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law somewhere.
Many happy returns!
Nicolas
