Calmet's Dissertations on ebay
A fine first edition of Calmet's Dissertations sur les apparitions is currently on auction on ebay. Seller estimates the book to be worth at least 1700 euro, so if you do not have that kind of money, you will probably have to be content with studying the nice photos of the book.

It's fetching pretty cheaply at the moment...and let's hope it stays that way! ;)
It says that "reserve is not met", so there is a hidden reserve, and the seller is not obliged to sell it if the reserve is not met. When seller estimates a price of more than 1700 euro, my guess is that the reserve could be at least half of that more?

The winning bid was 655 euro.

I was kind of living a slim hope that not too many people would take notice of the book on auction, but the price it quickly rose to was beyond my means of affordability.
Ah well.
Maybe you could add the images from the listing to your blog?
