Blogging on history
It can be interesting to see who is linking to this blog. One reference is made on the web site of a symposium on digital media in historical research, Digitale Medien in der Geschichtswissenschaft in Vienna next month. I can't help feeling a bit overwhelmed that this blog ('Weblog zur Geschichte des Vampirismus in der Habsburgermonarchie, von Niels K. Petersen') is mentioned in the company of blogs by various professional researchers!

It's not a symposion, but a course on how to use digital media in history I teach at Vienna university; Your weblog is a perfect example of how to use weblogs in historical research! The link to the "Vor Google"-Symposion is just a reference to an event that deals with the same topic as the course.
